‘Growing in independence and challenging ourselves’
Year 2 is an important year for the children, being their last year in the infants. We aim to build on their learning in previous years and make the year as enjoyable as possible, creating independent learners. At the end of year 2 the children in England undertake Key Stage 1 SATS; they are fully supported to complete these assessments. This does not stop us offering a broad and balanced curriculum and giving them responsibilities as the oldest in Key Stage 1.
